**ALLIANCE TOURNAMENT PREVIEW SPECIAL**

So the tournament is about to kick off again and Urban and Blinky really wanted to bring in depth and intelligent analysis on the Groups and Teams.

Unfortunately they then sabotage their own plan by inviting Verone from Veto and KIAEddZ from KIA onto the show.

Verone does go through the tournament groups giving firm but fair ratings for each of the teams, Eddz smack talks pretty much everyone Urban tries and fails to pronounce the names of most of the Alliances (even the ones which are in English) and Winterblink messes around with his anagram generator.

Find out which is the group death, which is the other group of death and which is the group of meh.

Massive thanks to Verone and Eddz for putting up with us and doing such a great job, Have a great time in Iceland guys!

The Freelancer Alliance claims they are going to head to BOB space We wait for them to get swatted.

CCP change the forums and the volunteer program.

The Warp Drive Active podcast returns once again to bring you news and perky commentary on everyone's "favorite" MMO, EVE Online.

Urban is wracked with guilty about some advice he gave to his his friends at the Comutiny podcast, While Winterblink watches IAC's Utterly futile attack in 49U

Tyraxx Thorrk swipes an Aeon from Evolution. With all the bad news for BOB in the past few weeks, we wonder if BOB is loosing it.

The Goonies celebrate a glorious 14th August , We hope they had CaKe to celebrate.

The player news centre completely ignores any of the real news and publishes a propaganda piece about a bunch of nobodies.

Big changes are happening to they way you fuel a POS. Reinforced mode gets thumped by the nerf bat.

Mineral compression gets a big nerf as well. All is not lost though as CCP unveils the awesomely named Rorqual new capital class mining vessel

We wanted to do a noob guide for starting a corporation, but frankly we know nothing about how to. Thankfully Crovan is on hand to give all the details.

For homework this week Urban sets something really awsome which everyone should check out. (more is available here).

Beyond that, just the usual getting sidetrackage, gibbering and tinfoil hattery.

Lead out tune "Out Of Sync" by Devo.**

Enjoy the show! ** The song was chosen by a listener and Winterblink insisted. Personally I think is a prefect example why listeners shouldn't be allowed to choose the tunes

The Warp Drive Active podcast returns once again to bring you news and perky commentary on everyone's "favorite" MMO, EVE Online.

Urban and Winterblink have both been having stressful weeks at work

In in-game news its Silly season with no major news stories happening.

The FREGE Alliance have been doing the most interesting thing of anyone this week by annoying the crap out of BOB, BodyCollector shouldn't post while drunk though.

The lads feel FREGE would fit in well at the ambassadors reception.

We correct an editing error I made last week regaring the IAC V FIX & MC war. Tyraxx continues to loose ships though.

We also really would like CCP to make an official Killboard.

We do a noob guide for agent running, for those who want to be obscenely rich.

For homework this week Winterblink would like you to read Cryptonomicon by Neil Stephenson.

We intive EVETV experts Stavros and Ifni onto the show to discuss the upcomming Tournament.

We are all highly impressed with EVETV's new invention The Caldari Sleipnir. Winterblink finds it especially inspiring.

We still really hope Band of Brothers doesn't win this years tournament! Give somebody else a chance guys!

The first WDA T-Shirt contest has a winner! One lucky listener now has an alternative to being naked!

Lead out tune "Download this song" by MC Lars.

Enjoy the show!

The Warp Drive Active podcast returns once again to bring you news and perky commentary on everyone's "favorite" MMO, EVE Online.

Urban and Winterblink start the show by spending an inordinate amount of time discussing their hatred of startrek and trekkies.

Winterblink buys himself a Playstation 3 which he rather likes while Oblivion still continues to consume Urbans life.

BOB and the Redswarm alliance have a big time scrap with nearly 1200 ships destroyed already.

The IAC V Fix + MC + Axe war continues to hot up nicely IAC put up another outpost which leads to but Tyraxx Thorrk looses another shed load of ships.

In the north the Sparta alliance disbands with its territory becoming property of Fallen Souls. We wonder what the other northern alliances will try and grab.

CCP Fendahl posts a dev blog about changes to Nos. The lads plan of hitting SISI to check out some Nute-Dom setups

The same Dev Blog has got the changes to Khanid Ships which causes much Armarr rage. Winterblink learns a new word.

A lot of people, including Urban, like the homework assignment Winterblink set last week, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. If you do our homework assignment please do write and tell us.

This week for homework Urban would like you to read The player of games by Iain M Banks, because the Culture universe is so damn cool.

Griefwatch Killboards changes hands as the current owner can no longer run it, we take our hats off to Battle Clinic for stepping up.

The rules for the 4th PVP tournament rules have been published by GM Nova. We worry that we won't be seeing enough expensive factions ships going boom.

Your chance to win a special prize courtesy of the Warp Drive active podcast. You could be the proud owner of a unique Warp Drive Active T Shirt similar to the one being modeled (rather unsuccessfully) by Kieron Check out the podcast for the question and send your answers to podcast(at)winterblink.com or evemail Winterblink

Lead out tune "Ghostbusters" by Attaboy Skip.

The Warp Drive Active podcast returns once again to bring you news and perky commentary on everyone's "favorite" MMO, EVE Online.

Sorry about the Delay, I've been called down to my parents place to help with the cleanup after the Great Burlingham flood and i've only just got their broadband working again.

Winterblink helps blow up a carrier whilst Urban has got himself a Xbox 360 with Oblivion which is taking up way too much of his time.

Tetra accuses us of being "Sponsored by BOB and co..." which is a bit confusing given that most of the Band of Brothers stories we report on tend to be about things going wrong for them (Shrike's Titan, Flatliners Theft).

The patch makes the server go boom which leads to Much geek rage .

The MC have been Hired by Fix to join them in their war against IAC. AXE are also getting in on the action.

Tyraxx Thorrk, the big boss of IAC, looses yet another ultra rare ship.

The first Soverignty level 3 systems are now in place, Cyno jammers rule!

We interview and get interviewed by Ivan Moon from EVE Tribune, well most of the time we just argued like old ladies.

Our friends over at the Shut Up we're Talking podcast finally get the noob guide they asked for. This time we go through the basics of starting off in PVP as a tackler.

For homework this week Blinky wants you too read Neverwhere by Neil Gainham

EVE Fitting Tool is an execlent and everyone should use it!

Lead out tune "Fett's Vette" by MC Chris.

Enjoy the show!
